培养目标：本专业围绕学生汉英运用能力、跨文化传播能力、研究性学习能力、批判性思维能力等四种核心能力，培养具有中国情怀、国际视野和可持续发展的人文外语精英人才和行业适应型外语精英人才。
Objectives:
“Bilingual elites with humanistic knowledge” and “Bilingual elites for
diversified sectors” who will have the highly bilingual proficiency, the awareness
of cross-cultural communication, the capacity to study in a research-based way
and think critically. They are intended to become elites with language
proficiency, thinking locally as well as globally, who will achieve sustainable
personal development and be competent enough to work in diversified sectors.
本专业的核心竞争力：具有英语综合运用能力、跨文化交流能力和行业适应能力，具有创新意识和团体合作意识，具有继续深造的基本素养。
Competitiveness
of this program: Students are intended to have highly English language
proficiency, be able to react in a cross-cultural situation and work in
different sectors. They will be creative and have a team working spirit. They
will also be willing to pursue continuing education after graduation.
本专业学生有机会参与电子科技大学与英国伦敦玛丽女王大学（Queen Marry University of London）合作进行的3+1本科生访学或4+1合作办学项目，达到相应条件可获得电子科技大学学士学位和伦敦玛丽女王大学硕士学位。
Students
under this program may join the 3-year +1-year Exchange Program or the 4-year+1-year
Joint Program run by the university and Queen Mary University
of London. Students fulfill graduation requirements will receive Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree from both universities.
核心课程：英语综合应用、中国语言文化、英美文学、学科方法论与学术写作、文学翻译。Compulsory courses: Comprehensive English Reading
and Writing, Chinese Language and Culture, British and American Literature, Academic
Writing and Research Methodology, and Literary Translation.
毕业走向：近年来，该专业毕业生海内外继续深造（读研）率达40%，其余学生主要在IT行业、政府机构、外事部门、商贸旅游、图情出版、教育部门、文化传播机构以及跨国企业 从事口笔译、行政管理、语言教育或国际交流传播等相关工作，历届毕业生深受各行业用人单位的欢迎和好评。
The Employment of the graduates: Graduates from this program are much sought after by prestigious graduate schools and employers in diversified sectors in recent years. 40% graduates of this program went to graduate schools at home or abroad. Objectives:
Students of this program will have the highly bilingual proficiency,

locally as well as globally with great sense of social responsibility, who will
become creative elites with morality, intelligence as well as physical competence.
专业特色：本专业通过以外语为学科主体的“人文外语”人才培养模式，以思辨能力训练为主要特色，以跨文化交际能力培养为重要目标，将文学、文化等核心主题融于语言基本技能课程；通过贯穿本科生培养全过程的研究方法论课程体系和教、学、研、训一体化的研训机制，培养学生批判性思维能力与集合创新实践能力。
Program
Features: Aiming at nurturing cross-cultural communicative skills of the
students, this program holds the idea of integrating “Humanity and Language”
with Japanese as its major courses, to train students to be critical thinkers
by language training courses with combination of literature and culture. Students
are intended to become creative practitioners through undergraduate
course system and the whole
process of teaching, learning,
researching and internship in four years.

Courses: Integrated Language Skills in Japanese, Japanese Culture, Theory and

Program
Features: Based on systematic French and Chinese language and literature
teaching scheme, the program sticks to the idea of training students into
internationalized elite bilinguals in French and English. The system has been
integrated with literary and cultural elements in French speaking countries. And
students are equipped with skills of French and English translating and
teaching Chinese as a second language. During the four years, students are to
be trained into a creative and critical thinker with international vision,
which will laid a great foundation for their continuing education in the
future.
本专业学生有机会参与电子科技大学与法国蒙彼利埃保罗－瓦莱尔大学合作进行的3+1本科生访学或3+3合作办学项目（达到相应条件可获得电子科技大学学士学位和蒙彼利埃保罗－瓦莱尔大学硕士学位）。

French, Reading, Listening and Speaking in French, Introduction to French
Society and Culture, French Literature, French and Chinese Translation, and
Chinese Language and Culture.
毕业走向：除了直接考取国内和法国的研究生继续深造外，毕业生可以在政府机构、外事部门、商贸旅游、图情出版、教育部门、文化传播机构、跨国企业以及在法语国家或地区的中资项目从事口笔译、行政管理、语言教育或国际交流等相关工作。

Objectives:
Students of this program will have the highly bilingual proficiency, creative
writing skills, and skills in translation and interpreting. They will be equipped
with systematic English cultural and literary knowledge and become highly
professional candidates in translation and interpreting industry, with the
awareness of cross-cultural communication, who will think locally as well as
globally with great sense of sustainable personal development.
本专业的核心竞争力：具有英汉综合运用能力和跨文化交流能力，具有适应翻译行业的熟练技能。
